What does a support worker do?

A support worker working in home care is responsible for ensuring their clients are able to live full lives, independently within their homes. As a support worker, you are there to offer services in line with their Home Care Package, that may include:

  • Personal care including dressing and grooming

  • General household tasks and maintenance such as cleaning and gardening
