A support worker working in home care is responsible for ensuring their clients are able to live full lives, independently within their homes. As a support worker, you are there to offer services in line with their Home Care Package, that may include:
- Personal care including dressing and grooming
- Assisting with meal times
- General household tasks and maintenance such as cleaning and gardening
- Transporting between appointments
- Providing companionship and emotional support
