There are a lot of differences when it comes to pay rates, as aged care registered nurse rates depend on your position, experience level and shift times that you work. Average registered nurse casual pay rates are between $50 - $120 per hour. For a permanent role, the average salary for a registered nurse in aged care is between $85,000 - $120,000 per year.

Incentives, allowances and bonuses are applicable for certain contract placements and locations. Reforms in aged care have led to pay rises for aged care workers in recent years, with more developments to come.

As a rule of thumb, you need one year of Australian aged care experience to work on our casual registered nurse pool. If you have under this, get in contact as we do have opportunity for new/recent graduates to work in a few of the homes we work with.

For registered nurses, you would need a Bachelor of Nursing, which is a three-year university degree, and an AHPRA registration upon completion.

We are recruiting registered nurses for temporary/casualcontractand permanent roles. Casual work, or shift filling, is done on an ad-hoc or block-booking basis. Contract roles range from four weeks to three months and you get to travel to a regional, rural or remote area of the country to work for an assigned period. You can also opt for a permanent role that offers career progression, growth and stability.

As part of our extensive onboarding process, we offer continuous online training via our Learning Management System (LMS) at no cost to you. This is regularly updated to reflect new legislation and practices.

Once onboarded, you’ll gain access to a user-friendly rostering app where you can view available roles, accept shifts and update your availability.
