You may be able to earn incentives; allowances and bonuses are applicable for certain areas and contract placements. Reforms in aged care have led to pay rises for aged care workers in recent years, with more developments to come.

An AIN/PCA will need to have one of the following:

  • Cert III/IV in Ageing Support
  • Cert III/IV in Individual Support
  • Cert III/IV in Health Services Assistance

An EN will need a Diploma of Nursing and an AHPRA registration, and an RN will need a Bachelor of Nursing degree and an AHPRA registration. You will generally need six months to one year of Australian paid experience to work in most residential aged care homes.

We offer aged care roles in Sydney on a casual and permanent basis. Casual or temporary roles cover shifts that are vacant due to sick calls, annual leave and staffing shortages. Often, these are requested on a last-minute basis. A permanent role is a more stable role, that offers career progression and growth.

Through our Learning Management System (LMS), which you get access to when registering with us, you get the opportunity to upskill at no cost. The modules that are included are regularly updated to reflect new legislation and practices.

In our user-friendly rostering app, you can view available vacancies, accept shifts and update your availability.

Through working on a short term or ad-hoc basis, you can:

  • Structure your work day/week to your schedule
  • Through our contract roles, you can explore areas of the country whilst getting paid for it, with free travel and accommodation included.
