The Client
As industry-leaders in Dementia Care, our client is looking to bring on an inspirational Dementia Specialist to push the design of Dementia Care to its limits. This forward-thinking organisation provides highest quality residential and in-home care for the Aged across Australia. A position has become available to ensure this exemplary service can be delivered to the most challenging circumstances state-wide.

The role
Your role will be to visit the patients who present the most severe Dementia behaviours, to assess, identify needs and generate innovative and strategic care plans which enhance their way of life. Each case is very individual, so the depth of your knowledge and effective use of research will be essential in your success, alongside a natural ability to communicate your findings to a multi-faceted team. You will be expected to work cohesively with external agencies, care-givers and relatives to co-ordinate 360° care.
  • Open to all allied health professionals with Dementia education
  • Must have 3+ years experience in Dementia Care
  • Tertiary qualification in related field is essential
  • Unquestionable commitment to improving lives of those with Dementia
  • Demonstrated conflict resolution 
  • Flexibility with time and location
