Job Description
The main focus of this role is to utilise extensive experience, understanding and drive to improve the standards within aged care facilities nearing the accreditation process, providing recommendations and drawing upon clinical knowledge. This role will an exceptional opportunity for a well versed care manager who is looking to take a step into the Quality space or a proactive quality manager wanting to work for a forward thinking organisation. With a number of homes within the Adelaide metropolitan this role will keep you busy, keep things fresh and interesting.
Role Responsibilities
- Conduct system & clinical practice reviews to identify gaps and areas of improvement
- Provide constructive and clear feedback to homes to ensure changes are evident
- Introduce, monitor and refine an internal clinical review process to monitor critical events and compliance issues
- Develop a efficient system to compile data from clinical indicators, audit reports and internal reviews to track and evaluate performance across the network of homes.
- Provide feedback on clinical policy, process reviews and reporting functionality through TRAX
- Build relationships with external partnerships to support the growth of both theoretical and practical development
- Uphold the company's values, adhere to all Health, Safety and environment policies
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- Current AHPRA registration
- Superior interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills for client and staff engagement purposes
- Solid project management skills, excellent organisational and time management
- Proven track record of working with quality standards, pre-accreditation processes and implementing improvements
- Ability to draw upon industry research, analyse practices and keep up to date with new initiatives
- Graduate clinical/management qualification (desirable)
