Job Description

Your new role as Operations Support Manager exists to ensure provision of excellent operational support for all Facilities and Aged Care Teams, including guidance of change management, and enabling compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards.

This role provides freedom, diversity, and the chance to utilise your well-honed expertise in Aged Care. Your purpose will be to provide support to all facilities in a whole range of capacities. You will get to travel between the homes promoting unity, sharing good practise and improving care across the state.

Visiting different sites with strategic development platforms, you'll never get the same day twice. From stepping into clinical support for a day on the floor, enrolling new policies and procedures, or educating and developing junior staff, this role will have scope for everything. If you're always a solutions person, and approach every task with energy and positivity, this is definitely one for you.


Key Achievable's
  • Strategic implementation; Ensuring all facilities are provided with advisory support.
  • Operational support and continuous improvement; identifying business development opportunities; implementing annual business plans across all facilities; key performance measures and progress reporting.
  • Facility systems and staffing.
  • Communications and administration; ensuring attendance at site visits to assess needs for service support to meet performance expectations.
  • Culture, people and stakeholder management.
The successful candidate:
  • RN Div 1
  • Current APHRA
  • 5+ years in Facility Management
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing policies, processes and standards of care
  • Proven success through accreditation
  • Demonstrated change management 
  • Experience monitoring and managing risk
  • Flexible availability to travel between sites
  • Professional attitude and dedicated team focus.
