Commissioning Aged Care Facility Manager to $170,000 plus super

This newly built medium sized Aged Care Home in North Sydney is nearing completion and final fit out. This well regarded provider is seeking an experienced Facility Manager / DON to undertake the commissioning. This is an exceptional opportunity for the successful candidate to build, and mentor a high calibre team of clinicians to deliver outstanding care and lifestyle experiences.

Prior commissioning experience is desirable, but not essential, as the provider has a proven track record, and a number of NSW based specialists in this field.

Apart from being an established Aged Care Manager you will likely have a penchant for marketing and driving occupancy. If you enjoy engaging with stakeholders and building the homes profile in the local community this role should appeal.

Essential qualifications for the role are as follows :
- a track record of building and leading high performing teams
 -  three or more years experience of running a medium or large sized home.
 - a current AHPRA registered clinical qualification is preferential .
 - a thorough working knowledge of the new aged care accreditation standards and success in meeting them.
 - an understanding of the commercial drivers behind a successful aged care business
