Reporting to the GM Clinical Governance and Quality this person will be based in Head Office but spend a large proportion of their time out into the field travelling between the various Aged Care sites across Sydney .
The Wound Care CNC provides expert advice, support and education to staff regarding, issues relating to the aged care consumer, such as wound assessments, establishing care plans and monitoring progress. The role of the CNC is to work with other clinicians to better manage consumers by applying leading evidence based practise techniques and to reduce complications through education and modelling care. This leadership, and management role is designed to support Aged Care Facility and Care Managers, as well as nursing, and care staff in the implementation of Clinical excellence across the region.
This hands on role will appeal to some one committed to Aged Care who wishes to develop leading edge practises and has a passion for education. Acting as an agent of change you will spearhead the groups continuous improvement agenda.
Successful candidates will possess the following attributes:
-Qualified Registered Nurse or Nurse Practitioner
-Three or more years Aged Care sector experience
-Happy to travel across the Greater Sydney area to visit facilities
