Aged care management professionals are involved in ensuring the home is equipped
to deliver the highest quality standard of care. They are responsible for different tasks
that aims to reach this goal, and examples of what their position description entails are:
- Providing training to staff in areas such as education, compliance and quality
- Involved with ACFI and budgeting for the home
- Overseeing care planning and services provided for each resident
- Ensuring the home reaches accreditation status
- Planning and being involved with events in the home
Depending on the position, you may need to be AHPRA registered and have a clinical background.
These roles are often permanent full time positions and can be managed on-site or roaming.
