What does an aged care casual role involve?

Temporary, or casual employment, means you work as and when you want too. You can work on a
block booking basis, picking up the same shifts each week, or you can decide what you work and
change up your working pattern.

These shifts run on an AM, PM and night duty pattern, so you can define the hours that you work as
well as the shift length. Depending on your commuting requirements, you can work at multiple homes and
are in charge of how far you travel to and from work.

Casual employment means you will be paid under the casual award. You do not acquire annual or sick
leave, but you are compensated because of this and are eligible for bonuses, travel allowances and more!
