Our aged care roles
Permanent
Our qualified consultants recruiting permanent positions have an innate understanding of the Australian aged care landscape and hold meaningful, long-standing relationships with clients and candidates alike.
From consultation to after-care, they are engaged and well-informed about industry updates and standards, ensuring accurate identification of talent to role alignment.
Temporary
Our team of dedicated aged care temporary consultants source experienced assistant in nursing/personal care workers, support workers, enrolled nurses and registered nurses for casual roles in metro areas of Australia.
We ensure all candidates are fully compliant before working. Our nursing pool enjoy shifts that meet their preferences whilst homes receive a quality service that responds to their needs.
Contract
Our regional and remote team oversees short to long term assignments for aged care homes and Aboriginal communities in rural & remote areas of Australia, connecting nursing professionals that are ready to make a positive impact within aged care environments experiencing workforce shortages.
Being able to travel and work across the country provides a unique work environment and invaluable experience for our nursing team.
PALM Scheme
In conjunction with Pulse Staffing, over the next four years we will be providing a cohort of workers from the Pacific Islands to work in rural and remote aged care communities across the country, to address labour shortages in partnership with the
PALM Scheme.
Our PALM representatives are involved in the recruitment and aftercare end to end process for our participants as they embark on a four-year transition to Australia.
The Sanctuary experience
I have had the pleasure of working with Sanctuary Recruitment for the past four years, and my experience has been exceptional. The agency exemplifies professionalism and is highly attentive to the needs of their staff. They consistently provide shift schedules and locations that align perfectly with my preferences. Their commitment to clear and open communication is outstanding, and they are always available to offer support and address any concerns. The team is remarkably supportive, reliable, and dedicated to creating a positive work environment. For any healthcare professionals seeking a top-tier, honest, and dependable agency, Sanctuary Recruitment is an exemplary choice. I wholeheartedly recommend them.
Registered Nurse, Victoria
Sanctuary is a supportive and positive company with great camaraderie. Work is always fun with great banter, but we are all competitive here which drives us to deliver better results month on month. The Directors are very supportive, are present and aware, and are on hand to help; they truly have your best interests at heart. I love coming to work every day.
Alex, QLD Manager & Consultant
I have worked with Sanctuary for a number of years. Given the nature of aged care, recruitment of staff is a fundamental aspect, shaping both culture and resident outcome. Sanctuary, in particular Mitch Hamer, has provided consistent services based on the individualised needs of the organisation and position available – rather than the candidates they have available.
Chief Operating Officer, NSW
The Sanctuary Family is one I am proud to be a part of! It is a place where you enjoy coming to work everyday. The support that Sanctuary has to offer is beyond amazing with everyone being given the opportunity for growth
Catherine, Contract Compliance

Kerry, Contract Consultant
I am extremely pleased and impressed with Tom’s professionalism and his attitude towards his clients. Recently, he is been very helpful in finding me the right role with the right organisation that aligns with my values and expectation. The quality I admire the most about him is that he is quite understanding and reassuring of his client’s situation and requirement and his trust and belief in my potential as his client to make me feel that I deserve the best opportunity. Also, he keeps the line of communication open keeping in touch regularly to understand his client’s changing situation. I strongly recommend his service to those who are willing to use recruitment agents to acquire their desired role.
Facility Manager, NSW
Highly professional, friendly agency. I recently joined this agency and all the consultants are very professional and maintain high standard of communication. I am very satisfied and happy to work for Sanctuary. My sincere thanks to Zinna and Nadia for the excellent service.
Assistant in Nursing, Victoria
Sanctuary Recruitment is a professional and very helpful agency, especially my consultant Tom who always tries his very best to assist his customers to find jobs and shows a lot of emotional support through the process. I recommend the, they are the one of best recruitment companies in Sydney.

I enjoy working for Sanctuary for a lot of reasons. I’ve been given opportunities to grow and improve my skills. Everyone is so positive and willing to help, but above all it’s the supportive, cohesive working environment that is further fostered by a great management team.
